Vedanta Group's Cairn Oil & Gas, the largest private oil and gas exploration and production company in India, has firmed a partnership with TechnipFMC. It will allow TechnipFMC to deliver integrated subsea infrastructure in a faster manner to Cairn's deepwater projects in India.

The company will benefit from TechnipFMC's integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI™) execution model, as well as of its integrated front-end engineering and design (iFEED™).

According to Cairn's CFO, Hitesh Vaid, the partnership is part of the company's efforts to push forward the pace towards its production targets.
