London, UK (02 March 2017) – Bringing together E&P professionals from around the world, the SPE International Bergen One-Day Seminar returns next month on 5 April 2017 to Bergen.

This year’s conference theme is “life cycle of a well” with the technical programme exploring unique challenges to drill more advanced wells, extend life time, increase production and wells to be completed intelligently. The conference will also open with a panel, Key Drivers for Maximising Economic Recovery on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

International petroleum professionals, and industry leaders, innovators and investors will be in attendance including panel session speakers from Statoil and Faroe Petroleum.

We see a change in activity and investments that indicate a change may be around the corner. The hope is that this will feed the optimism in the industry and we challenge all colleagues to bring up new ideas which can be debated at the conference. The best way of giving new life to the industry is to gather and share new ideas, technology and opportunities.
