TÜV Nord Cert GmbH audited the German natural gas storage facilities at Inzenham West and Breitbrunn/Eggstätt, the Norwegian subsidiary DEA Norge AS in Stavanger as well as some departments at DEA‘s Hamburg headquarter in accordance with the three-year recertification cycle of various ISO standards.

Special focus was on quality management, environmental management and energy management as well as standards relating to work safety and health protection. During the audits, the organisational set-up and processes of individual areas were examined by means of  a random test. The overall certification of DEA proves that environmental and safety standards are complied with, in particular in respect to national legislation.

“The certification confirms that with our management system we have created an excellent basis for safe and environmentally sound operation in Germany and abroad”, according to Dr Michael Zettlitzer, General Manager Corporate QHSSE, DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG. In 2018, audits will be conducted at DEA Egypt, the Holstein Production District and various departments in DEA’s headquarters.
