The World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC), to be held September 30 – October 2, 2015 in Orlando, FL, will cover the total spectrum of energy management and alternative energy technologies for the commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, and government marketplace. Dr. Condoleezza Rice, featured Opening Session speaker, will address national security, energy and economic policy. She will also discuss challenges and opportunities that might be faced as a result of the ever-changing geopolitical landscape such as the rise of ISIS, democracy promotion, and international sanctions. In this inspiring presentation, Rice provides a sweeping look at global affairs during her tenure as secretary of state and national security advisor. She shares compelling stories of her experiences, which illuminate the interrelationship of global events and leaders. In addition to Dr. Rice, other opening session keynote speakers include Alex Glenn, Florida State President for Duke Energy, addressing the nation's energy future and Jackie Ogden, Ph.D., Vice President of Animals, Science & Environment, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, discussing environmental sustainability at Disney.

The Closing Keynote Luncheon will feature speakers Barry Worthington, Executive Director, United States Energy Association, presenting on the energy policy outlook and Kevin Bright, First Vice Chair, Consortium for Energy Efficiency, speaking on the adoption of energy efficiency programs. The Council of Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) will provide a free networking breakfast presenting featured speaker Gayle Lanier, Senior Vice President of Customer Services for Duke Energy, discussing fulfilling the customer promises. CWEEL is organized to develop a prominent voice for women in the energy industry and to contribute to the advancement of women in leadership positions throughout the industry. Senator Judd Gregg, Co-Chair for Nuclear Matters, will discuss carbon-free economic engines: our existing nuclear fleet, at the AEE Florida Sunshine Chapter Luncheon.

The WEEC conference contains 14 tracks with over 260 speakers from more than 20 different countries. The Latin America and Spain energy management symposium, a new addition to the conference, will cover energy efficiency and renewable energy case studies in Latin American countries such as Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and more. The WEEC also features the Energy Managers Summit, a special forum designed to address challenges and opportunities facing today's energy managers.
