Aker BP has received consent for removal of the facilities on the Jette field.

The Jette field is in the central North Sea, around six kilometres south of the Jotun field. The water depth is 127 metres. Jette was proven in 2009, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2012. The field was developed using a subsea template with two production wells tied to the Jotun A facility.

Production finished in December 2016.

The work of removing the facilities on the Jette field is planned to start in summer 2018 and will continue in 2019 and 2020, after the wells have been permanently plugged.
