London, UK (23 September 2019) – There is now only a few weeks remaining until the start of the SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the big names of the Caspian oil and gas industry will join with representatives of IOCs, NOCs, service companies, government members, academia and students.  The event, which is now in its sixth year, takes place from 16-18 October 2019 at the Fairmont Hotel in Baku.

Over the past few years, the oil and gas industry has been reshaped by technology and new digital approaches have been introduced to simplify many operational processes, reduce human work hours and help improve equipment reliability and security.

Under the theme ‘Digital Transformation: Enabling the Future’, this event will focus on the impact digital technology has had on the oil and gas industry, as well as how it will affect current and future digital trends and applications.
