ARLINGTON, Va. — The Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) will provide opportunities for education, networking, live demonstrations, national and international technological developments and more at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2019, on April 30 to May 2, 2019 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

EDUCATION:

Drone Tech User Track
AUVSI is excited to introduce a series of sessions dedicated to safely, efficiently and effectively advancing UAS deployment. Delineated by experience level — Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced — sessions in this Track will address topics such as building a business case, best practices for drone program management, flight operations management, maximizing ROI through data integration and management and more.

Women and Diversity
For the last three years, the Women and Diversity in Robotics event has continued to grow, featuring in-depth discussions facilitated by leaders with a wide variety of roles and backgrounds that push attendees to tackle difficult questions and reflect on how we can help increase diversity within our own organizations.

Public Safety UAS Track
Building from last year’s success, AUVSI incorporates a two-day Public Safety Track into the XPONENTIAL program. Designed specifically for public safety practitioners, this Track offers attendees the opportunity to engage with each other and experts in the field while discussing key issues of interest to the community. Discussions will cover a full range of topics from program implementation to lessons learned to regulatory considerations, and more.

Co-Located Events
To provide an in-depth look into specialized topics and solutions in unmanned systems, AUVSI partners with leading organizations to host co-located events. 2019 will feature approximately four co-located events from AGL Media Group, Vertical Flight Society, mdg and the National Center for Atmospheric Research, covering topics from wireless infrastructure to strategic marketing. More information about the co-located events are available at the XPONENTIAL website.

NETWORKING:

Take 5
Making solid connections is the most important aspect of attending XPONENTIAL. During these special events, which take place during a break in the educational sessions, attendees are encouraged to “Take 5” — meet five new people to exchange ideas and best practices or find five good ideas you can take home, or simply take five from all the activity and enjoy a complimentary snack.

The MAX
The MAX is a networking event that will take place on Wednesday, May 1, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the XPO Hall. There will be food, drinks, entertainment and games and all attendees and exhibitors are invited. This is the biggest networking event at XPONENTIAL allowing for MAXimum connections, exposure and fun.

XPO HALL:

Low-Speed Ground Demo
Visitors will have the opportunity to directly experience and interact with autonomous vehicles, technologies and solutions through static displays. Additionally, visitors can experience a ride-along on a safe and controlled track on the exhibit floor.

State and International Pavilions and The AUVSI Accelerator
AUVSI XPONENTIAL will feature partners from all over the world that help showcase the innovation and technological advancements of the unmanned systems industry in their respective states and countries.

AUVSI XPONENTIAL is the largest trade show for the unmanned systems and robotics industry. The 2019 exhibit hall will showcase 700 cutting-edge companies from around the world and more than 150 sessions of educational programming, providing information about the future of unmanned systems policy, technology, business solutions and trending topics.
