“The Guinea MC3D survey PGS’ first MultiClient project in collaboration with the Republic of Guinea and marks the start of a series of planned acquisitions,”  PGS said.

The Ramform Atlas seismic survey vessel started operations in mid-February and acquired 3D seismic data over the blocks A4 and A5 for 84 successive days.

The vessel, equipped with 70-meter back deck, covered a survey area of 7900 square kilometers in water depths ranging between 60 meters and 4500 meters.

The streamer length was 8025 meters, with streamer separation of 150 meters between the twelve streamers used.

According to PGS, the survey project was completed on May 8, and fast-track processing is ongoing and the data will be available within the next few weeks.

MarineTraffic data shows the Ramform Atlas vessel is currently located at Las Palmas, Spain.
